In thinking about the new year, I am reminded of the promise in Isaiah 58 verse 11: “The Lord will guide you continually.”
He, himself, no one else, leads the way. The word ‘will’ makes sure He will never forsake us.
Then look at the word ‘continually’. He promises we will not be guided sometimes but continually. We are to continually hear the guiding voice of our Master. If we follow close, we will not err. No matter what happens this year, good or bad, the Lord will guide you continually.
There are no dilemmas out of which you shall not be delivered if you live near to God. You have immutable wisdom to direct you, immutable love to comfort you, and eternal power to defend you.
The Lord shall guide you continually throughout this new year!
