“When I kept silence my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.” (Psalms 32:3) I would like to share with you a very personal and difficult story which also testifies to the power of a ministry I feel passionate about.

My husband was a gifted pastor/teacher for 50 years. God blessed his ministry. In 2014 his life came to a tragic end. He was murdered by a person with whom he arranged an illicit affair. My husband had a “heart” problem that he never put to death.

“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you.” Colossians 3:5

Sadly, his flesh and bones literally “wasted away” before his body was found. My health became critical also because of my “groaning all day long” for many years. One of the issues the Center for Women’s Ministries (CWM) has helped me with was to realize my husband’s shame was not mine. CWM helps women to talk about their “groanings”.
